At the Dairy Show, the only New Zealand competitor in the butter section secured second prize. The Pi©. Pio Factory (Te Kuiti) was awarded first for salted butter, scoring 95 points,and seconded in unsalted' with 9'S points. There were IS New-Zealand competitors in the cheese section. Hawera was awarded the first prize, Maungamarama second, and Mataura third.
