KNOX CHURCH SALE OF WORK.
The ; sale of work - organised by the Knox Church Young Women's Bible Class was continued on Saturday night, when the various competitions were .won as follow:—Quoits (for ladies'), Sirs P. Jackson, (for gentlemen) Mr A. Jackson; cake weight-guessing, Mr W. H. Davis; guessing number of beans in bottle, Miss Plastoe; bed-making (for gentlemen), Mr J. Goss 1, Mr D. Angus 2; hat-trimming (for gentlemen), Mr J. Jackson. In connection with the object for which the sale was organised, it may be mentioned that Nurse Stubbs's salary; is £lls per annum, instead of £l5O, as previously stated.
