POLICE EXAMINATIONS.
LIST OF PASSES. Press Association. WELLINGTON; October 17. The results of the police examinations conducted throughout the Dominion last month were announced to-day. There was a large number of candidates, but the percentage of passes was small. The examinations were merely qualifying, not competitive, and are in grades —namely, for sub-inapeetora, senior sergeants, and sergeants.
