'< The Government'"has prohibited the export, except to the British, colonies and .possessions* of woollens, worsteds, yarns,: and woollen and worsted cloth without a pattern, if it is suitable for uniforms.;.__ clothing, except women's dress ; stuffs, cloth manufactixred from merino wool, uniform clothing', Cardigan jacketsj and woollen jersey's, gloves," socks/ and underwear.
