The Frozen Meat Trade Association's Sniithfield Market quotations for the . undermentioned classes of frozen meat are based on actual sales of not fewer than 100 carcases of mutton, or lamb, of 25 carcases of beef, of fair average, quality". Shafty merinos were slightly harder, but short, faulty, wasty, and fine-haired wools felt the lack of Continental support and showed a 10 to 15 per centum decline as compared with July prices. The woolbrokers liava decided to resume the sales, which will be held in Sydney on October 20, Melbourne on October 26, Geelong on October 28, and Brisbane on November 4.
