FROZEN MEAT MARKET. By Cable. —Press Association. —-Copyright. LONDON, October 10. The Frozen Meat Trade Association's Sniithfield Market quotations for the . undermentioned classes of frozen meat are based on actual sales of not fewer than 100 carcases of mutton, or lamb, of 25 carcases of beef, of fair average, quality". These quotations are not for selected lines, but for parcels fairly representative of the bulk, of the shipments now on the market:—

The following prices "were realised for the fleece portions of the New Zealand clips named: —Bee, top 13$ d, average 12fd; Ohoka, top J3d, average 21§d. . On Satur-1 day 8829. bales were offered, of which I 4127- were from New Zealand, and the day closed with the highest prices of the series increasing by strong competition on account of Home manufacturers. All crossbreds showed a decided advance upon the opening rates. Shafty merinos were slightly harder, but short, faulty, wasty, and fine-haired wools felt the lack of Continental support and showed a 10 to 15 per centum decline as compared with July prices. SALES IN AUSTRALIA. (Keceiyed October 12, 10;30 a.m.) SYDNEY, October 12. The woolbrokers liava decided to resume the sales, which will be held in Sydney on October 20, Melbourne on October 26, Geelong on October 28, and Brisbane on November 4. Only limited quantities will be offered. LONDON MARKETS. Butter. —Danish butter is quoted at 148/-, new Argentine salted at from 128/- to 130/-.
