LONDON WOOL SALES. By Cable.—Frets Association. — Copyright. LONDON, October 7. • At the wool sales there was better competition for merinoes. The sale included the following prices for the fleece portions of the New Zealand clips named: Tukemokihi, top 13d, average 12d; Meadowbank, top 14d, average 13|d. The Board of Trade announces that it is prepared to grant, licenses to export wools, especially merinoes, provided it is proved that they are bona fide transactions. • ' Y— ' BANK OF AUSTRALASIA.
