AMBERLEY.
The last meeting of the Amberley Ladies' Miniature Rifle Club was held last night. In the final competition, the following result was attained: — Miss Adams 1, Miss O. Feathery 2, Mrs Chamberlain 3. Mr A. Lukcy, who has rendered valuable service as marker, and generally given assistance, was the recipient of a cheque in recognition of those services. The presentation was made by Miss Mason, captain of, the club. In thanking the ladies, Mr Lukey said it had been a. pleasure to him to attend, and he looked forward to a successful season next year. On Wednesday a very pleasant afternoon was spent at the Bank, when Mrs Boddington entertained a number of friends in honour of Miss F. Greig, on the eve of: her marriage to Mr J. Taylor. After a dainty tea had been dispensed, several musical items were given, and the bride-elect was the recipient of a number of'useful presents.
