BROMLEY SCHOOL.

A meeting of the Bromley School Committee was held last evening. Present: Messrs Iluggins (chairman), Chambers, Gowie, Hadlev, Moore, and Mrs' ? Christian.

The head teacher reported that the school had opened very satisfactorily, and the attendance was good; also that he had purchased some books for the school library.

The shelt&r shed is now completed, and will be an undoubted benefit to the children. A letter was receiied from the Education Board approving, and granting the subsidy.
