The new intercolonial timetable, which emits Hobart as « port of call, has caused a good dual of inconTenience at the Tasmanian *ort. The gap in the Melbournc-Hohart trade has been partially filled by the Wainui running viu Strahan, and the cargo steamers Mo»n;bool and Koonya. In order, however, le supply the passenger requirements and also to cater more satisfactorily for the cargo trade, the companies hare come to air impartnut; decision. It has been decided that the ideamers Taloona and Wimmera, which are engaged in the Hobnrt-Sydney trade, shall also carry on the Melbourne service *fter the steamers, reach Hobart from Svdncy'they will proceed to Melbourne, then* return to Hobart and continue on to Sydney. The *>l- - will probably take place at the end of the current month. Passengers for New -Zealand . will either have to proceed to Melbourne or Sydney and tranship, or go by the fortnightly mail' Sttumerß which, call at Hobart en roiite from Loudon to Wellington.
