To assist those men returning physically unfit until such time as they are again restored to health. Generally, to apply the fund's in any manner that may be deemed necessary by the Executive to alleviate suffering and distress arising out of the present stupendous crisis. UNEMPLOYMENT AND EQUIPMENT. None of the money contributed to the Canterbury Patriotic Fund will be expended in providing work for the unemployed, nor in the equipment of troops. WHETHER IT BE POUNDS, SHILLINGS, OR PENCE, REMEMBER THAT YOUR CONTRIBUTION WILL HELP SOMEONE LESS FORTUNATE. GIFTS OF PRODUCE, ETC.
