GERMAN TRAWLER , MINES RAMMED AND SUNK BY BRITISH cruiser. : LONDON, August 31. ; A British cruiser caught a German trawler, which was flying a Norwegian flag, laying mines in the North Sea. The cruiser gave the crew three minutes to escape, and then rammed and sank the trawler. The German Press believes that the" 1 Heligoland engagement may be regard: ed as insignificant, and not affecting the general situation.
