SUDDEN DEATH.

A man named Peter Anderson, a gardener by occupation, aged about .50* died, suddenly at Merivale this morning-

The deceased was a singly man, resident at 97 East; Bpit, and is supposed to have a married sister living in Linwood. This morning, about 8.<!0, he went out to Mr T. W. Reese's residence in Rossall Street, Merivale, to do some gardening work. While he was talking to Mr Reese he suddenly fell forward, apparently dying immediately. Mr Reese summoned Dr. Gibson by telephone, but the doctor could - only pronounce life e.xtinct.

An inquest will be held in the city morgue at 5.i»0 p.m.
