Arrived—Victoria (2.55 p.m.), from Auckland and East Coast ports: Warrimoo (5 p.m.), from Sydney, via Wellington. NOTES. The Himitangi leaves Lyttelton' for the Chathams on Thursday. En route from London to Wellington the New Zealand Shipping Company's R.M.S. Ref mera left Hobart at 6 o'clock on Thursday evening, and is due at Wellington early on Tuesday morning. Passengers and mails for the south should reach Lyttelton on Wednesday morning by the Maori. When the New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Kaikoura has completed discharge of lier Home cargo at Auckland and Wellington she is to be handed over to the Federal and Shire Line for the purpose of loading in New Zealand for West of England ports. In continuation of her voyage from Liverpool to Wellington, the steamer Invert-ay got away from Auckland at 0 o'clock on Saturday morniifg, and was expected to arrive at Wellington this morning. On Friday evening the New Zealand Shipping Company's chartered steamer Southern arrived at Wellington from St. John (Canada). On Saturday morning she commenced discharge of a part cargo. The next vesesls to arrive from Canada are the Karamea, now at Sydney, and the Anglo-Egyptian, now at Melbourne. It is expected that the Verdala, running under charter to the Vacuum Oil Company, will arrive at Wellington from Auckland.with a part cargo of case oil from New York on Wednesday or Thursday next. Captain Ruxton, late of the Kauri, has been appointed master of the Rakanoa. Captain H. S. Wyborn has taken command of the Kauri, his officers being:—Chief, JVIr Cossentine; second, Mr Madden; third, Mr Forson. Mr Mcnzies, late purser of the Manuka, has joined the Willoclira in a similar capacity, and has as his assistant Mr Duckworth. Mr Campbell, late purser of the Willochra, who has been granted leave, is proceeding to Auckland by the Mokoia.
