Cossacks in ambush. :v mow down ' cavalry; LONDON, August 14. The "Daily Chronicle's" Milan correspondent states that five thousand Cossacks annihilated two Austrian cavalry regiments from Lemberg, in Galicia, which, emboldened by the Russia* withdrawal, had advanced. Hundreds of terrified horses leapt into, the marshes and sank to their haunches. The Austrian regiments were wiped out." ATHENS, August 13. The Russian Legation states that-the . concentration of Russians oji the Galician frontier has been completed, and an offensive movement is imminent, to coincide with the Servian advance on the Danube.
