TO SUN READERS:

We liave received numerous requests to print tlie latest war news in such a way as will enable readers to distinguish it at a glance from news that has been received overnight. We think the case will be met bv printing the place of origin and the date in heavy type, thus: LONDON, August 11. Tress cables that have appeared in the morning papers, but not in the previous night's SUN, will be printed with the place of origin and date in plain type, thus: LONDON, August 11. It is necessary for us to publish the overnight news, as numbers of our readers have long since dispensed with morning papers, and we trust the method referred to will meet the convenience of those who read both morning and evening papers.
