Choral Hall, when the present students of Mr Arthur Lilly, A.K.C.O;* will give' a concert of much interest*The .programme will include the '.performance of Brahm's beautiful,'choTal ■■' work, '' A Song of Destiny,'' by thirty students. Two pianists-pf exceptional' - ability will appear, Miss- Lucy Grantham playing the first movement of Bee- '.". thoven 's Appassionata Sonata and Liszt's " Liebestrium,'' and —3k£is» > - Benny Young, a thirteen-year-old stu-' -9 dent of unusual attainments, will play w r orks of Chopin,. and MacDowcll. The vocal solos and duets" are also ■ very attractive, including - , Stanford's Cycle "Songs of,the Sea,'* by Mr W. J. Spratt. Mr Chas. Carter, a counter-tenor —a voice rarely heard here- —possesses an cxeeptionajly thigh range and beautiful tono. ' Further particulars will be announced later.
