Details of the fight at the Save | bridge on July 28 show that an Aus- ! trian aeroplane flew over the Servian position, and lit it up with her searchlight. Howitzers shelled the entrenchments with remarkable accuracy, silencing the enemy. The Austrian machine guns, aided by the Monitor's searchlights, played havoc with the Servians, who I fled in disorder, leaving many dead ' and wounded.
