AUSTRIA'S DEMAND.

The Austrian Note has been received. It is couched in sharp terms, and confirms the forecast of the 22nd inst. It requests a reply by 6 o'clock on Satur r day night, and demands the arrest of Major' Taukovitch and Gigauoviteti, a Servian State employee; also the punishment of frontier officials for facilitating the passage of the perpetrators of the crime.
The Note says that the crime was hatched in Belgrade by Prinzip, Gabrinovitch, Gigahovitch, and Grabez, with the assistance of Major Taukovitch. Bombs from the Servian Army store were delivered to these persons by Giganovitcli, who instructed them in the use of bombs and Browning pistols.

The Government has issued a statement that Austria drafted the Servian Note without consulting which will hold aloof unlesp another Power intervenes. In thai/icase Germany will fulfil her duty towards her ally.' ....
