OPENING BALL AT PREBBLETON.
A correspondent writes:— The opening ball wns held in the new public liall at Prebbleton on Thursday evening, and proved to be a most suc<essfu.l function, about ninety couples being present. Music, was supplied by Roeslors' Band, and Messrs L. McGill anl G. Miller were M.C. 's.
