The New Zealand Rugby TJion team defeated New England, at Armidale, by 35 points to 6.

O'BRIEN BREAKS A LEG.

A BRILLIANT SECOND SPELL.

During the Armidale match. Jack O'Brien, the New Zealand full-back, had his leg broken while tackling an opponent. He was sent to the hospital.

At half-time the score was: New Zealand 8, New England 6. The visitors played -brilliantly in the second half and "prevented the local men from scoring again.

The New Zealanders were tendered a civic reception at the Town Hall. v -
