ST. JOHN AMBULANCE.

The Dominion headquarter staff of the St. .John Ambulance Brigade have, issued certificates of commendation to Sergeant Stephens, Railway Ambulance Corps, ('hristchuivh, and Nursing Sisters 1). (Saunders, W. Carnie, and M. Twose, of the C'hristehurch Nursing Division.

These certificates are a new departure, and are only given to members of the St. .John Ambulance Brigade who, by exercising their knowledge of the principles of first aid, have alleviated pain and suffering in meritorious eases, or have actually prevented death from results of accidents.
