The Labour Council, in welcoming Miss Adelia Pankhurst, decided to ask Mr Holman to cable to-Mr Asquith regarding women's suffrage. The council's half-yearly report criticises the two Labour Federations recently formed. It also refers to the failure of industrial unionism in connection with the meat strike.
