MOTTO FOR LONDON.
BERNARD SHAW'S SUGGESTION. "Times" and "Sydney Sun" Services. (Received July 17, 9.45 a.m.) LONDON, July 16. The London County Council is divided in regard to the choice of a motto for the city, a section- dtesiring- a Latin motto, and others desiring an English title, readable by the man in the street. Mr Bernard Shaw suggests- '* Hell is_ & city much ".like- London" as the most apt title until the eouneil carries out its duties.
