By Cable.—Press Association. —Copyright. (Received July 14, 11 a.m.) LONDON, July 33. Fifteen hundred men have struck at the Mersey Dock. If the strike continues many liners will be imprisoned within the dock gates.

[A message on Saturday said:—The Mersey Dock and Harbour Board is declining to recognise men employed in its warehouses and engineering departments. Three thousand men will strike on Monday. Trade union officials do not anticipate an extension of the strike.]
