.LONDON, July 13.

It has been officially announced that the 16th Infantry of Newcastle, Australia, have won the Etnpire Day Gup with a. score of 2932. The 4th King's Royal Rifles were second with 2740, the 38th Dogras, Malakand, third, with 2644, and the Marine Artillery, Portsmouth, fourth, with 2632.

BISLEY MEETING- OPENS. The Bisley rifle meeting has opened in fine hot weather.
