ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
THE GAS TURNED t)N. Prest Association. WELLINGTON, July 13. William Taylor, a baker by trade, who resided, at Tasman Street, was found dead this morning. He . rose from bed at 3 a.m., informing his wiie that he was going to work, and at 7 o 'clock Mis Taylor discovered his dead body lying on the'floor of the washhouse. There was a gaspipe close to the corpse, and the gas was turned on. A doctor was summoned, but his services were of no use. The deceased, who was 66 years of age, com : plained yesterday that lie was not feeling well.
