ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
FOUND DEAD. Press Association. DUNEDIN, July 10. Wm. Samson, a married man of 47 years, and a well-known resident of Burnside, was found dead inside his fate about eight o'clock last evening, t appears that he had motored from Cavershatn late in the afternoon, and he was found dead by his five-year-old daughter. One theory is that the deceased fell after alighting from his car and struck Iris head on the paling fence.* A BRIDGE WORKER KILLED. Superintendent Dwyer has been notified that a man named R. Crump, who was working on a bridge contract between Hawarden and Hurunui, fell off a derrick yesterday and suffered concussion of the brain. He Was taken to the Hawarden nursing home, where he died this morning. No other details are available at present.
