WHY GO TO LONDON? By Cable. —Press Association. —Copyright. (Received June 27, 1 p.m.) LONDON, June 26. The Hon. T. Mackenzie presided at the New Zealand dinner at the Trocadero. The guests included Lord Ranfurly and Lord Plunket. Lord Ranfurly observed, in view of the savings of the people, he could not understand why New Zealand came to London for loans. The Hon. T. Mackenzie explained that the country was developing so fast that it required local accumulations as well as outside capital.
