REFEREES' ASSOCIATION.

At the last committee meeting the resignation of Mr Gill from the position of secretary was accepted with regret. Mr Charles Richardson was appointed hon. secretary, and Mr 11. MacLachlan assistant secretary and treasurer. A large meeting of all the members, aud all those who are interested in the referees' part of the game, will be held in the Y.M.C'.A. on Monday at 7.45 p.m. A lot of interesting and important business will be dealt with, including, the appoiutmeut of a team to meet the association executive in a match as a curtain raiser to the next Brown Shield game.
