CAUCUS ADOPTS AMENDMENTS.

The Labour XJaueus has finally adopted the Railways Act- Amendment : Bill; which will abolish the system of control, obtaining for inany years. The' measure provides for the readjustment of the powers of the Conmußsioners and the constitution of the Board of Control, giving Cabinet power to determine and carry out matters of railway policy, as distinct from railway administration.
