LODGE MEETINGS.

RECHABITES. The usual fortnightly meeting of the Pride of Christchurch Tent, LO.R., was held in the Y.M.C.A. last Monday evening, Bro. C. H. Bascand, D.R., presiding. Members from the Phillipstown and Addington Tents were present. Seven members declared on the sick fund. Sick pay amounting to £5 7/6 was passed for payment. One new member was initiated and three candidates proposed. The representative on the Band Committee reported that favourable progress was being made towards the formation of a Recliabite Brass Band. Receipts for the evening amounted to £52. Nomination of officers resulted as follow:—C.R., Bros. C. H. Bascand; D.R., Sister Hale; secretary, Bro. R. H. Taylor; treasurer, Bro. G. Bielby. U.A.O.D. The Lyttelton Hearts of Oak Lodge, U.A.0.D., held its half-yearly meeting on Thursday, the 11th inst. P.A. Bro. Small opened the lodge in due form at 8 p.m. The following Brothers were elected as officers for the ensuing term: A.D., Bro. Coleman; Y.A., Bro. E. Donovan; secretary, Bro. C. Johnston; treasurer, Bro. T. Wales; 1.G., Bro. F. Smith; 0.G., Bro. F. Roder; A.D.8., Bros. Illingworth and Peebles; Y.A.8., Bros. Mead and Vaughan; M.Sec., Bro. Johnston, jun.. D.P. Bro. Hole installed the officers, assisted by P.D.P. Bro. Stevens. Two new candidates were proposed for membership. i.ooTf. The fortnightly N meeting of the Loyal City of Norwich Juvenile Lodge of 1.0.0. F., - Manchester Unity, Lyttelton, was held on Monday, N.G.' Bro. A. M'Cormick presiding over a very large attendance of members; The brethren of the Woolston and Sydenham Juven- j ile Lodge, accompanied by P.G. Bros. Millington, Fabian, Saunders, Fransdom (Sydenham), P.G. Bro. Carlyle (Woolston), P.G. Bros. Ryder and Williams (Lyttelton) were welcomed by the N.G. One candidate was balloted for, elected, and initiated. The second of the triangular shooting matches was held, the result to date being: S. Porteous 64, C. Toy 60, T. Carlyle 59, Bookman 57, D. Fabian 59, Simihonds 59. After the shooting a social, with refreshments, was held. Songs were given by Bros. Harkess and O'Hallaron; recitations by Bros. Fabian and P. G. Fabian. Nominations for officers for the next 'term were taken for the first time. P.G. Bros. Fabian, Carlyle, and Ryder returned thanks on behalf of their several lodges. IVY OF LINWOOD. The usual fortnightly meeting of the Ivy of Lin wood Lodge, UA.O.D., was held in the Orange Hall, Worcester Street, on Monday. ArchDruid Bro. Dickenson presided over a fair attendance. An invitation to the officers and brethren to attend a social evening, from the Queen of the Oak Ladies' Lodge, was accepted. * Sick pay to the amount of £5 was passed for payment. The lodge then prepared for initiation, and a ballot was taken for Mr Chambers, who was unanimously elected and initiated into the rites of Druidism by A.D. Bro. Dickenson, asisted by P.D. Bro. Brewer. An offer to give an address on "Maori Mythology" next lodge night, by Mr Anderson, was accepted with thanks. P.G.P. Bro. Burgess, on behalf of the lodge, presented P.A. Bro. M 'Donald with a framed diploma, and complimented him on his successful term of office. Bro. M 'Donald suitably returned thanks. Bro. Burgess als6 presented the lodge with a framed photograph of the Grand Lodge representatives in session during his term of presidency. Arch Druid Bros. Dickenson accepted the gift on behalf of the lodge, and thanked Bro. Burgess .for his generosity. BrO. Btargess then delivered an address on wireless telegraphy, which proved very interesting, and was much appreciated by the members.
