ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
A BUTCHER INJURED. Albert Jones, a married man, who follows the calling of butcher at Riccarton, was leading his horse and cart into a paddock yesterday afternoon, when the animal shied.' Jones Was knocked down, sustaining bruises about the face and Head, and also severe internal injuries. He was removed to the hospital for treatment. A COLLISION. A cyclist and a motor car came into collision at the corner of High and Cashel Streets about 2 p.m. to-day, and the result was bad for the cyclist. He was thrown to the ground, and in the collision sustained a nasty cut on the arm. He was taken into Mr Wallace's chemist shop, and received first aid from one of the staff. Subsequently he was Attended by a medical man, and the was stitched.
