TWINS v. SINGLES. TAEK IS CHEAP UNTIL FACED WITH FACTS. To save any further' arguments concerning the relative merits of TWIN CYLINDER and SINGLE CYLINDER machines for Side Car service, not only in the King's Birthday Side Car Trial. As oftentimes the winning machine in credited with haling all the motorist luck, we will give the OFFICIAL results ol the ONL\ THREE Side Car Trials that have been held under the auspices of the North Canterbury Motor Cyclist, 's Club. The first trial, held on June 191;; (when highest points were awarded for reliability and petrol consumption), proved an easv win l'or 11. Jones on his TWIN "KING PICK,'' who had an absolute NON-STOP run, at the same time gaining HIGHEST points for PETROL consumption, thus proving that TWIN CYLINDERS were even more economical than the Singles. The second event, held on December 10, 19K5, proved another easv win for THE TWIN KING DICKS, E. Armitage securing lirst place, with an absolute NON-STOP. The third trial, on King's Birthday, saw THE TWIN KING DICKS winning the event for the THIRD TIME IN SUCCESSION, H. Jones being awarded the possible 1000 MARKS. Performances such as these do not require any BOLSTERING. Tho fact remains that the TWIN CYLINDER <' KING DICKS'' have demonstrated very decidedly their superiority over all other makes, and, further, that for every day Side Car work there is nothing able to compete with the Twin Cylinder machine. Photos of the respective winners can be seen in our 1 windows. We also invito motorists to come and inspect the latest models 6 H.P. Twin King Dick, and Chain Drive "Singer. 1 " Trials by appointment. JONES BROS., LTD., Sole Agents, Opposite Clock Tower, Christchurch. . H. Joues, outakle representative. .6
