FREIGHTS AND FARES.
INCREASED CHARGES. By Cable.—Press Association. —Copyright. (Received June 2, 9.50 a.m.) . SYDNEY, June 2. The increased passenger and freight rates between inter-State ports came into force yesterday. There is an increase of 1/6 per ton on general cargo, while passenger fares have been raised approximately 10 per centum. The increased rates do not apply to live stock.
