A DEADLY WEAPON.

TORPEDO GUIDED BY SEARCHLIGHT. V . A torpedo, of deadly precision and power, moved, through the night at the will of a 'man directing the; rays of a searchlight, has beenV invented by John Hays Hammond, jun:; an Amefiean inventor,- according to an announcement made last night by t)r Jacques L'oeb, the wizard of science, in the course of a lecture given in California Hall, Berkeley, says an Americsan exchange under date.April 4.
