At the half-yearly meeting of the Mount Lyell .Company, the < chairman said he anticipated extensive developments, and consequently improved results. It was disappointing to have to declare a dividend of. not more than one shilling, but the Board had concluded ffhat, until the comprehensive development scheme was finished it would not be prudent to encroach on the accumulated profits.
