The guests included ' Mesdames Th'eomin,lSargopd; Nevill, Du Croy, F< Fitchett, Russell, Ritchie, Vivian/, Napier, Bullock, , .Petre,, Shacklock, Sidey, Gilkison, Misses Downey Stewart, Ulrich, Kelsey, Macassey,' and' "many others.

On- Saturday -the Y.WvG.A. rooms were made very to the niembers ,of the Pathfinder's Club,"' : Who found them ''Flower Evening" aWvery enjoyable ■gathering. }?i'. Great interest was taken in the guessing competitions, the prize winners- being Misses \Campbell, E. ' Campbell, and; Parker. During. the evening recitations and songs were given by Miss 8.-Hart and Miss Scott.

The Otago Art Society's exhibition attracted a large number .of *.visitors yesterday. Besides the oil and water colours, there are some fine exhibits in the arts and crafts section, and there is a big display of work by the students' of the School of Art. Miss Gether's exhibition of hand weaving was viewed . with interest by a number of ladies, who greatly admired her deft handling of the loom. Mrs W. Hi Reynolds and Misses R. and V.
