THE ROSE BUCKLE.

A decorative trifle for the evening dress is the /fr>bon or chiffon rose buckle, used as the finish of a sash or to catch up a draped skirt. Cut an oval or square buckle out of a piece of thin cardboard and cover it with a piece of silk or satin. Round the edge sew gold Jaee, slightly full but lying flat, then cover the front of the buckle with chiffon roses.
