SUPREME COURT.

CRIMINAL SESSION. NOT GUILTY. The trial of Charley Henderson, ai> elderly man, who was charged with carnal knowledge of his step-daughter, aged \2 years 8 months, was concluded after TILE SUN had gone to press yesterday. His Honour Mr .Justice Denniston presided, and the prosecution was conducted by Mr P„ S. K. Macassey. The accused was represented by Mr W. .1. Hunter. He had already stood trial once, when the jury disagreed. After a retirement of 50 minutes, the jurv returned a verdict of not guilty, and the accused was discharged.
