PIGEON CLUB'S SHOW.

SOME RARE BIRDS. Pigeon fanciers will shortly be given an opportunity of inspecting some very rare breeds of these tyrds amongst the 550 exhibits that will be shown at the Alexandra Hall, Manchester Street, tomorrow afternoon, when the Christchurch Pigeon Club makes its annual display. Birds have been sent from Victoria, New South Wales, and all parts of New Zealand. His Worship the Mayor, Mr Holland, will open-the show. Special care has been taken with all exhibits, and the display of each class.has been well thought out. It is doubtful whether such a representative collection of pigeons has been shownjanywhere in New Zealand before, and certainly it will be one of the best shows ever arranged in Christchurch. On Saturday, racing homers and-poultry will be shown, but on the two days there will be a representative collection of fancy pigeons.
