Mrs Drummond, who announced that she was seeking sanctuary, arrived by motor car and commenced her vigil at Sir Edward Carson's house at 9 o'clock in the morning. She was provided witii breakfast on the doorstep* Sir Edward Carson left his house at .midday, and Mrs Drummond attempted to'throw a document into his car. • She'occupied the doorstep till ."5 o'clock when she was arrested.

(Received May 16, 8..']0 a.m.) Mrs Dacre Fox shrieked for twenty minutes at the Westminster Court, and the hearing of her case was suspended. , Mrs Drummond also endeavoured to shout down the Magistrate. Both were sentenced to a month's imprisonment in default of securities for their good behaviour. Mrs Drummond fought, the police when
she was being removed. Lilian Mitchell, charged at Birmingham with the delivery of inciting speeches, endeavoured to shout down the Magistrate. She was remanded.
