BOXING AND WRESTLING.

CHRISTCHURCH ATHLETES' CLUB. A meeting of the Christchurch Athletes' Club was held last evening, Mr F. A. Hornibrook presiding over an attendance of 32 members. . The chairman reported that the boxing and wrestling entertainment held in the Choral Hall last Saturday evening was successful from every point of view. As a result, the club was able to hand over about £l2 to the tug-of-war team whieh is to represent Canterbury in the tournament at Dunedin. The meeting decided that the next boxing and wrestling entertainment should be given in the Choral Hall on Saturday, June 13. A selection committee was appointed to arrange matters for that date.

A special vote of thanks was accorded to THE SUN for "the very able reports it has published of the club's competitions."
