The Shaw, Savill steamer Tainui, en route from London to Wellington and • Lyttelton, was due at yesterday. She isexpect-ed to arrive in Wellington next Monday; and at. Lyttelton about a w<jek later. This morning the Union Company's steamer Maunganui arrived in port from Melbourne, via southern ports and Hobart. She leaves this fevenjing for Sydney, via' Wellington. At 8 a.m. to-day the N.Z. Shipping Co.'s Tongariro arrived at Auckland from 'London, via Cape Town and Hobart. On" completing discharge at Auckland She comes on to Wellington. The Union Company's training steamer Aparima is due in Wellington to-day from Calcutta, via other Eastern ports .and Auckland.
