NEW BRIGHTON TROTS. Fine weather was experienced for the opening day of the New Brighton Trotting Club s Autumn Meeting, the only drawback being a rather keen easterly wind that blew down the course. There was an excellent attendance, and the course was in very fair order. Cis Vivian soon, established a useful lead, but with half the journey gone she was challenged by Victor Chief. The- latter then broke badly, allowing Cis Vivian to go on and win easily by 10 lengths from Nora S., who was a length- in front of Ella Princess. Close up came Mandel and Hiroki.
