"Times" and "Sydney Sun" Services. ST. PETERSBURG, May 7. An uproar in the Duma followed Opposition growls of protest against the intended prosecution of Tcheidze for. propagating republican ideas. -On the president's motion, fifteen Socialists were suspended for a fortnight. Singly and in batches, Circassian princes and working men were removed by < thei Sergeant-at-Arms, assisted by the guard. .There was a full house and a crowded gallery.
HUGE SYMPATHY STRIKE.
FIFTY THOUSAND ARTISANS,
(Received May 8, 9.35 a.m.) ST. PETERSBURG, May 7. Fifty thousand artisans have struck as a protest against the fortnight's suspension of several Socialist members of the Duma for disorderly interruptions.
