The Irish national game of hurling is evidently going to become a feature in New Zealand sport. A club has already been established in Auckland, and the secretary,. Mr T. P. O 'Sullivan, who is at present on a holiday visit to Wellington, is taking steps to form a similar club in this city, says the "Times." With this object a meeting of those interested has been convened for this evening. Hurling is similar to hockey, but .is played with fifteen a-side, and generally the rules are such as to permit of faster play.
