SUN SPECIAL EDITION. A unique instance of journalistic enterprise was the issue of*a special edition of THE SUN last night, containing a full report of Sir Joseph Ward's speech in Victoria Square up to 9.30. A large staff of reporters was engaged in recording the address, and as Sir Joseph was speaking the linotypes were busy translating his words into print. So expeditiously Avas the work done that before the meeting broke up the paper was on sale,to the audience. THE SUN'S enterprise was much appreciated by the crowd, and the special issue had a good sale. The issue of this special edition constitutes a record in New Zealand journalism.
