THE TASMANIAN CRISIS. QUESTION IN THE COMMONS. By Cable. — : Press Association. — Copyright. (Received May 5, 9.10 a.m.) LONDON, May 4. Mr Arthur Lynch, M.P., questioned the Right Hon. Lewis Hareourt in the House of Commons upon the Tasmanian situation. He suggested that an important document had been withheld, and asked whether Sir W. Ellison Macartney, the Governor, had marked his official communication '' Confidential.'' Mrj Hareourt replied that the documents had not arrived, and he had no reason to suppose that when the} r are received they would not place him in full possession of the facts. He had no information regarding Sir W. Ellison Macartney's alleged actiotf. He had been in telegraphic communication with Sir W. E. Macartney, but with nobody else. ;
