The trial has opened at Krasnoyosk, Siberia, of Haletzky, who denies charges of having murdered twelve girls, who were found buried in the forest in the summer of 1913. The girls had apparently been killed by blows on the head. Haletzky offered a servant girl a post in a rich man ? s country house, and then attacked her in the forest. The girl temporarily blinded him, and escaped and informed the police.
