FLAG COMPETITION. Miss F. Moore won the Flag Competition yesterday afternoon, Mrs Cripps being runner-up. Prizes for tlio event were presented by Mrs Pyne. The following is the draw for the Bpgey Match to be played;, to-morrow: Mrs Synions plays Miss Gerard, Mrs Sims plays Miss Wilkin, Miss Thomas plays Mrs Bortliwiclc, Mrs Hall plays Miss Symons, Mrs Cowlishaw plays Mrs Freeth, Miss Chrystall plays Mrs Stewart, Mrs Hill plays Mrs Bond, Miss Lee plays Mrs Bristed, Mrs Boylo plays Miss Jennings, Mrs Vernon plays Miss G. Moore, Mrs Stevenson plays Mrs Comerford, Miss Moore a bye. CHRISTCHURCH GOLF CLUB. DENNISTON CUP. The following is the draw of the eight highest competitors who have qualified to play in the second round of the Denniston Cup oil Saturday:—ll. R. Brittan plays 11. I;. Bowker, S. Orchard plays T. \V. Cane, C. 11. Hewlett plays 11. H. Knight, J. D. Milton plays W. A. Humphreys. As C. H. Hewlett will be unable to play on Saturday, he has had to scratch, HAGLEY CLUB. The ladies of the Hagley Golf Club have introduced a ladder series of matches for this season, and the first of these matches will be played on Friday.
